Daily practice
Build a simple daily practice you can return to
Choose a personal practice, a realistic target and a place in your day. A practical guide to simple habit tracking without turning your record into a score.
Start with something specific
A long list can make it difficult to know where to begin. Choose one personal practice you would like to make room for: reading, a familiar dhikr collection, or another activity that matters to you. Write down what doing it would look like on an ordinary day.
For a personal reading goal, that might mean opening a particular book and reading a page. The point is to make your own plan clear. This is a way to organize your time, not a prescription for worship or its value.

Example with two active practices, which requires Pro. One active personal practice is free.

Give it a place in your day
Look for a moment you already recognize: after breakfast, when you return home, or before putting your phone away in the evening. Keep what you need nearby. A bookmark, a prepared reading space or an open collection can make the next step easier to find.
Choose a moment that fits your circumstances. If the first plan is awkward, change the plan; you do not need to add more reminders to force it into place.
Keep the record simple
In MishMish, open Practice, choose My practice, then Add a practice. Start with a suggestion or create your own with a name and a daily target in times or pages. Choose the weekdays that fit your plan; a daily practice can mean your chosen days, not necessarily every day of the week.
Record what you actually completed. A mark is a note about an action, and an empty space is not a complete account of your day. Leave room for life beyond what an app can measure.
Review the fit
After a few days, ask whether the activity, moment and target still suit you. Keep what helps, and simplify what feels unnecessarily complicated. You can also continue a practice without recording every occasion. The useful routine is the one that leaves you clear about your next step.
Know what you need before adding more
One active personal practice and a reminder at a fixed clock time are free in MishMish. Pro adds more active practices, custom routine creation and practice reminders linked to a prayer time, such as after Asr. Guided adhkar remain free and separate from your personal-practice limit.
You can also use a notebook or calendar. Write the practice, the days you chose and what you completed. Whichever tool you use, keep the record specific enough to help you return, without treating a blank day as a judgment.
