Guided adhkar
Morning and evening adhkar: a guide to reading in MishMish
Find morning, evening and after-prayer adhkar with Arabic text, transliteration, meanings and sources. Learn how the dhikr counter and saved position work.
Choose the collection you mean to read
In MishMish, open Practice and choose Adhkar. The available collections include morning, evening, after salah and before sleep. There are also adhkar for waking and entering or leaving home. Choose the collection that matches what you want to read, rather than treating every collection as one long daily task.
These are selected collections with their own entries and sources. This guide explains the app’s reading tools; for religious questions about timing, wording or practice, refer to the cited sources and a qualified teacher you trust.

Keep the Arabic, meaning and reading aid in view
Each reading presents Arabic text, a transliteration in Latin letters, a meaning and source information. English, French and Arabic readers can use the same guided structure in their chosen interface language.
Transliteration can help you follow the written phrase, but it cannot convey every detail of Arabic pronunciation. Use it as a reading aid alongside the Arabic. If pronunciation is unfamiliar, seek guidance from someone qualified to teach it rather than treating Latin spelling as a complete substitute.
Understand what the counter is counting
The dhikr counter follows the displayed phrase and its repetition target. Read the phrase, then use the counter to keep your place. The source information explains the basis of the stated repetition count; it is not a personal target to increase because an app suggests more progress.
Scrolling through a long text and counting are separate actions. Take the time you need to read the meaning or citation without treating the screen as a race. A counter is there to help you remember where you are.
Leave and return without losing the thread
When you close a reading, MishMish saves your position so you can return through Continue. A completed collection is different from a partial reading, so returning to Practice does not need to mean starting another full session.
If the text of a collection is revised in an update, an older partial reading may restart to match the updated content. Previously recorded completion history is kept. This prevents a saved position from pointing to a different phrase after a revision.
Keep reading and prayer records distinct
Reading after-prayer adhkar does not record a prayer for you. Prayer tracking and guided reading are separate records, and each reflects the action you chose to save.
Guided adhkar are free in MishMish. They do not use up the free personal-practice slot, and no Pro purchase is needed to read a collection or use its counter. You can make room for a reading without creating a custom routine first.
